The new xc90 really looks good, i went to test drive one the other day and i was quite impressed!
drove a diesel model and liked the way it ran on the road. Comfortable, feels imposing on the road, good visibility and easy to drive. Engine is powerful enough at the low end that makes it very usable on our roads.
the car itself is superbly well built, packed with all kinds of gizmos and technology and stuff. It's also very spacious and comfortable, and volvo has used a lot of quality materials so it feels very premium and nice.
great job volvo!

Heard good things about the much-hyped XC90, so i thought i would give it a try. Drove the diesel model are here are some impressions.
the most striking aspect of the xc90 (and in many ways its defining quality) is the spaciousness, comfort and overall quality of the car, especially on the inside. Everything feels good to the touch, there is tons of space, and its very well put together. There are a ton of safety features as well, which you come to expect from volvo.
driving it, the diesel engine is not too bad. Offers enough punch in the low to mid range, and for all intents and purposes it works. Its not the most exciting or engaging of drives, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the car, which is to be a supremely comfortable and luxurious people carrier.
