Simply Confidence Inspiring!!! Once you settle in and adjust to your driving and steering position, you really feel that the car has been built around the driver. Pulsating red Start/Stop buttton is inviting. A low engine growl at Start and then an unexpected low hum as its a diesel. Its a smooth drive that surges to its 430Nm torque at just 1750rpm. You pull effortlessly away from traffic. Hardly any body roll and a really impressive set up for suspension ensures you to get really great feedback of the road thru the steering wheel. The low siting position gives you a sense of being in a coupe rather than saloon. Of course getting in and out can be challenging. The latte trim provides beige leather seats, door rests, central cubby cover, but black and piano like dashboard and panelling, which exudes luxury and style. In black trim, its rather boring. Latte is the way to go. Technology wise its not lacking. Reverse camera comes standard, the passenger side mirror automatically dips to assist in parking when reversing. IOS and Andriod phones have Jaguar InControl apps that link to the car. Touchscreen is slightly laggy but adequate and works well. Power boot door is really convenient! I recently test drove the diesel XE, and it left quite an impression on me. The car drives really well, offering good low end torque and feels extremely composed and comfortable. And with the 8-speed auto gearbox the car's efficiency numbers are fantastic. So on a practical, financial sense this car makes a lot of sense. the car is well equipped, lots of modern gizmos and everything. Which is basically on par for most new luxury cars. The interior can feel a little cramp at the rear, compared to its more spacious competitors. And its not the most high-quality interior materials wise. But its easy to look past that because the car is really good to drive, looks great, and is fairly light on the wallet.... Read More
