SEAT Toledo Diesel

I test drove the Seat Toledo about 2 months ago. The drive is fairly smooth but unremarkable. Sound insulation is not perfect but passable. Interior design is acceptable but for the more discerning individuals, would feel it's very unremarkable and fairly uninspiring - lots of plastic with dated design. Test drove the Petrol version with a manual transmission. I was comparing this car to Japanese and Korean rivals at that price range. The idea of a lower road tax and the strong accelaration from this turbocharged 1.2 TSI mated to a Manual gearbox appeals to me. If you are looking for a entry level car with punchy engine but also easy on wallet, good looking, frugal, without too much gimmicks like HUD.Etc, something simple and sturdy, this is the car for you.
