Monster on the track yet easy to live with daily
The M140i's six-cylinder turbo-charged engine produces the same amount of power as the 1M Coupe and is 0.3 seconds faster than the M135i.
You would think this power would be a nightmare to live with in the city but it isn't. There are barely any signs of forced induction and the engine responds almost instantly across the rev range. This predictable linearity really helps make driving, especially in traffic jams, a breeze.
BMW's ZF gearbox is quick and responsive, with well spaced ratios. Really nothing to complain about there.... Read More
