Does value for money ever get better than this?
Elegance and sportiness define the G01 generation X3. Add electrification, and you get the G08. This car is simply amazing. With the increasing number of chinese EVs on the market, the trend of "Stick a big tablet onto the dashboard and call it the infotainment system" increases. On the iX3, you get the ever intuitive iDrive 7 - a perfect blend of touchscreen AND physical controls. Step into the car and you're greeted with a comfortable Vernasca leather seat, a 12.3" driver's display and a leather wrapped steering wheel. The memory functions make it easy to switch driving position when different drivers are using the car. The rear doesn't compromise at all - you get a full-length panoramic sunroof, ample room to fit three though there is a transmission tunnel to put your feet around. The seats are plush and even the middle seat is one where you would willingly spend long road trips on. On the test drive, the adaptive suspension works wonders. You feel the ride firm up when you switch it into sport mode. Pop it into comfort mode and you have your very own magic carpet. The power delivery is smooth (as expected from an EV), and though this is quite a heavy car, it does in a way help with the handling and agility - do remember that this is a BMW after all, so you get your RWD drivetrain too. For families looking for space, practicality and luxury yet doesn't compromise on sporty driving dynamics, the iX3 is a great way into electrification. Oh, and the build quality is quite simply brilliant.... Read More
Was it luck with Faulty Battery?
My 2.5 years old pre-owned iX3 suddenly showed Drivetrain Fault at HDB Charging station. It was just happened few days after purchase. It was very difficult situation to pull out from HDB MSCP. Performance Motors roadside assistance team responded fast to send GAO Towing Specialist who is very skillful to pull out in difficult position. As far as updated from PML, battery will be replaced under Warranty but NEVER say it will be new battery. Few days downtime and ruined our family holiday plan to Malaysia. Seller claimed it was luck for individual but It's truly very bad experience for me and my family with wrong choice!... Read More
