I have 2 Vios (old and new model).

There are pros & cons in the 2 models.

Overall, Vios has a very good FC which is very important in today fuel hike. On average my FC is 15-16 km/litre.

What I like
Old Model :
1. Compact, easily to drive.
2. Quiet engine
3. Relative good insulation

New Model :
1. Spacious and confortable
2. Steering is light

What I do not like
Old Model :
1. Not comfortable as it is not spacious
2. Steering is heavier than new model

New Model :
1. Engine noisy
2. Poor insulation

The plastics used is very hard and brittle. Open the glovebox and you will be amazed how it drops into your hand. There is no damping to cushion the opening.

I was choosing between a vios and a axio after test driving both, i decided on the later

New Vios is basically a Sedan Yaris IMO, due to the identical roundish look on it.

Its CG is much higher than my uncle old vio... FC not sure as i jus test drive it but guess all toyota car shd be the same ( Good FC )

Didn`t took long for me to call my PI dealer to get me a Axio.

What I like
Spacious ( Bigger than older version )
Look Big on the outside

What I do not like
Same old engine with a mark up price
Roundish outlook that look like a twin bro to Yaris
High CG ( not a car for the Daredevil )

I am owner of old vios, when this new model come out. one word - it is PRICEY yet no significant improvement. some aspect of car even lose out to it's old model but ask higher price. that why i really don't understand why need to paid few thousand more for downgrade stuff??

The new Vios looks ugly and performs way under par. Toyota has ruined the reputation of the Vios with this new model. Looks UGLY and feels ROUGH when driving.

Ive owned vios sports edition.. and the interior and exterior is so nice.. its white in colour.. leather seats its very comfortable.. vehicle feels light and easy to handle.. very nice..

Save your cash and get a Japanese or Korean made car. The Thailand made Vios is filmsy, light and extremely dangerous in an accident to be in. Vehicle feels cheap. Very cheap.

Previous model is better in price,outlook and fuel usage in my personal view. Thus when this model come out, with a different higer pricing, I don't think it's such a good deal as before.

Have own a Vios before and was pretty easy to drive and travel in all type of road and also parking lots. What I really like of this car model is the reasonable petrol consumption with compare to others similar car models. In general Vios serve its main objective well, by bringing us around. However, it is intended as an economic sedan and not targeted for people who prefer luxury cars or high end models.

A bad move by Toyota to change their Vios. Its previous version looked way better. The new Vios is actually sold in other countries as the Toyota Belta. Sales is not fantastic.



The new Vios has a higher C.G than the old one, thus handling is made worse. Only good thing about the vehicle is its reliable Toyota engine. Toyotas last forever.
