Chief Test Driver of Automobili Lamborghini Research and Development Department, Giorgio Sanna, has started the delicate task of fine tuning the new Super Trofeo race car, based on the all new Lamborghini Huracan. Joining him were two official Lamborghini Squadra Corse test drivers Adrian Zaugg and Fabio Babini, and supported by drivers from the Young Drivers Program.
From 2015, the Huracan will be the car raced in all of the three Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series: Europe, Asia and North America. Next season's series will feature both the Gallardo and the Huracan, which will share the grid but will race in different classes.
"The first shakedown is always a very special moment. I've followed the development phase step by step in Sant'Agata Bolognese, and we are all enthusiastic about this very important moment. We have full confidence in both Zaugg and Babini, as well as in the young drivers who will contribute to refining the new car," commented Giorgio Sanna.
