We could use that on things other than women, especially when it comes to supercars, like those bearing the bull emblem. Lamborghini has held a World Premiere of the Aventador Roadster, right here in Singapore.
The Aventador makes it high among the charts of supercars, and in drop-top guise it is no doubt one of the most exciting Lamborghini ever built. Flown in directly from Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, Singapore is the first in the world to witness this raging bull. Gracing the exclusive event was none other than Stephen Winkelmann, President & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
The Aventador Roadster features newly designed geometric lines from the removable hard-top roof to the engine hood, which can be immediately recognised by the unique profile of its upper area. The two-piece roof is made entirely from carbon fibre using various technologies such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Forged Composite that guarantee maximum aesthetic performance. Besides being extremely light, with each component weighing less than 6kg, these two parts are easy to handle and simple to attach, and can be stored in the front luggage compartment when not in use.
Similar to the coupe version, the centrally located 6.5-litre V12 engine generating 700bhp powers the Aventador Roadster. This unique super sports car does the century sprint in only 3 seconds flat and has a maximum speed of 350km/h, boasting a record performance with no direct competition.
Aesthetically, the body of the new roadster features a two-tone finish, with the A-pillar, roof and rear window area painted in gloss black. The interior of the car also sports a new look. Wrapped in exquisite hand-made Sabbia Nefertem leather from Sant' Agata Bolognese, the interior is a perfect match for the exterior. Finally, to complete the package, new lightweight alloy rims helps to cut the unsprung weight of the roadster by 10kg, compared when fitted with the standard set of rims.
