Yokohama BluEarth-A tyres promises superior wet performance and fuel efficiency

Yokohama has recently launched a new edition to its 'BluEarth-A' range of tyres in Singapore. The name hints at the range's eco-friendly motives, and most sizes of the new BluEarth-A have been awarded the C grade in the European tyre grading system for rolling resistance, and the A grade for performance in wet conditions.

The BluEarth-A tyres are focused on providing a high degree of driveability, with priority in minimising rolling resistance to enhance fuel efficiency. Despite the focus, Yokohama also prides their tyres for driving involvement and pleasure.

Another highlight of the BluEarth-A tyres is its low noise characteristic, which is aimed at providing comfortable journeys for motorists.

By employing a 'noise-controlled pitch', the BluEarth-A tyres suppresses the incidence of uneven tyre wear. Coupled with the unique 'nano BLEND' compound, the tyres' operational life is enhanced and extended. 

In addition, the asymmetrical thread design contributes to the exceptional grip in wet conditions. The thread patterns give the tyres enhanced rigidity and superior drainage characteristics.
