YHI and TotalEnergies host ELF Dealers' Night

YHI is well-known in Singapore as a distributor of Yokohama tyres and Advanti Racing wheels. The firm, however, has been branching out in recent years and it is also the official distributor here for ELF lubricants.

This partnership between YHI and ELF, which is owned by TotalEnergies, began in 2020 when the former was appointed as the official distributor of ELF in Myanmar. Two years later, YHI began distributing ELF lubricants and other products in Singapore.

ELF is globally renowned for its lubricants, which are used by numerous teams in motorsport. The Alpine Racing Team in the World Endurance Championship, for one, uses ELF engine oils. ELF also participates in Moto2 as the title sponsor for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team.

To celebrate yet another milestone, YHI and TotalEnergies hosted their second annual ELF Dealers’ Night. The event, which took place in Carlton Hotel last Sunday (16 February 2025), saw 100 guests from its dealer network and partner workshops in attendance.

During the event, representatives from TotalEnergies discussed their motorsport activities and talked about their tie-ups with crucial motorcycle brands such as CFMoto. They also spoke about how ELF lubricants were evolving to meet even more stringent demands by tightening emission standards.

To be specific, the standard for petrol-driven passenger engine oil specifications will be moving from SP/GF-6 to SQ/GF-7 in 2025. ELF is ready to meet this standard.
