Lamborghini Singapore's new Satellite Showroom, housed at Suntec City, was officially opened by Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, on 12th November, 2015. In conjunction with the launch of the new showroom, he also presented the new Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, the open-top version of the Huracan that combines the power and performance of the coupe with the emotion of open-air driving.
Inspired by the success of Lamborghini ARRIVA - the three-week public showcase of its iconic super cars at Orchard Road last year - Lamborghini Singapore has opened a second home at Suntec City. The sleek, minimalistic space will house Lamborghini's luxury super sports cars, as well as a dedicated Automobili Lamborghini boutique, offering a range of lifestyle collections for men, women as well as children.
At the launch event, Mr. Winkelmann also presented the new Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, Lamborghini's soft-top offering of the Huracan. Offering outstanding quality, breathtaking performance and inspiring technology, the Huracan Spyder possesses a distinctive presence with roof closed, and especially with the roof open.
The naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine produces 610bhp, and will accelerate the Spyder from 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 324km/h. A hybrid aluminium and carbon fibre chassis means that the Spyder maintains a high-level of torsional stiffness (40 percent more that its Gallardo predecessor) to ensure the handling precision of a race car. The Spyder also includes new technical features of the 2016 model year Huracan family, including 'cylinder on demand' and 'stop-start' technology, and a new electronically controlled all-wheel drive setup for improved driving behaviour.
Reservations for the Huracan Spyder can now be placed with Lamborghini Singapore, and delivery of the pre-booked units is scheduled to start in June 2016.
