Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2, a rear-wheel drive version of the Huracan coupe.

At the Los Angeles Motor Show, Automobili Lamborghini presented the Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2, the rear-wheel drive version of the Huracan coupe. Specifically designed and engineered for its rear-wheel drive set up, the Huracan LP 580-2 combines dynamic new looks with a package for an enhanced Lamborghini driving emotion.

Stylistically, the LP 580-2 is clearly different from its four-wheel drive stable mate with a redesigned front and rear.

Newly formed front air intakes direct cooling air and headwind to increase downforce at the front axle, whilst the spoiler lip at the rear works with the underbody diffuser to improve airflow around the rear of the car. The car also sits on new 19-inch Kari rims, enhancing the car's dynamic expression.

The naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine has been downtuned to produce 580bhp and 540Nm of torque to the rear wheels through the same seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

A new power management set up, with stiffer suspension, a new steering set up for more precise turning, and recalibrated stability and traction controls helps to connect the driver as directly to the road as possible, and enhancing the rear-wheel drive characteristics of the car.

Engineered for driving fun, the Adaptive Network Intelligent Management (ANIMA) button on the steering wheel allows the driver to adopt different driving modes, recalibrated to suit the spirit of the rear-wheel drive model, offering more tail-happy handling.
