TVR has shown the first glimpses of the styling of its hotly-anticipated all new model, releasing teaser images of the car's front fascia and side profile. The new model is due to be launched in late 2017.
The car will use a Cosworth V8 engine that has been engineered to produce ample mid-range torque and more than 400bhp, and is expected to be capable of accelerating to 100km/h in less than four seconds. TVR has also confirmed that a convertible will join the range, with TVR owner Les Edgar saying the model has been designed from the beginning to accommodate an open-roof version.
The car will be built using Gordon Murray's innovative carbon fibre manufacturing process called iStream Carbon. The car's design has also been overseen by a TVR employee embedded within Gordon Murray Design, which is involved in the development and manufacturing process of the car.
