New Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe launches in Singapore

Athletic and sporty, the vivid, sensuous design of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe cuts a fine figure on the road and embodies modern luxury. As the sportiest variant of the C-Class, the Coupe displays its driving enjoyment-oriented character in an emotive and at the same time, formally distinct design with a sporty, striking front section featuring a diamond radiator grille and long bonnet.
Being 95mm longer and 40mm wider than its predecessor, the Coupe's lines flow into a bold and powerful-looking rear end, incorporating the genes of Mercedes' coupes. A high beltline and frameless doors with free-standing exterior mirrors underscore the car's sporty character. The Coupe's suspension is also 15mm lower than the Saloon's, highlighting its sporty proposition when combined with the standard 17-inch wheels.
At the same time, its interior elevates beauty and style to a fancier level. The choices of materials and workmanship have a hand-crafted feel with high-class appeal, and deliver a new take on modern luxury.
And with an 80mm longer wheelbase than before, the increased vehicle volume above all, creates more spaciousness for the driver and front passenger. Shoulder, elbow and headroom have increased as a result.
A dynamically configured chassis, with optional air suspension, forms the basis for a high level of suspension comfort, low road noise and tyre vibration, agile handling and driving pleasure. Lightweight construction to reduce weight, excellent aerodynamics and high-performance, efficient engines likewise play their part.
There are three petrol engines available for the Coupe. The output spectrum ranges from the 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine in the C180, rated at 154bhp with 250Nm of torque, to the 2.0-litre C200's 181bhp and 300Nm, and the C300, likewise with a displacement of 2.0-litres but with an output of 242bhp and 370Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the road via Mercedes' 7G-TRONIC PLUS seven-speed auto box.
