At the 2016 Paris Motor Show, Porsche celebrated the debut of two sports cars with completely different characters - the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the new 911 GT3 Cup. The new Gran Turismo combines a performance-oriented hybrid drive and sustainable e-mobility with dynamic sportiness and luxurious driving comfort. By contrast, the new edition of the world's best-selling racing car - the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup - is reserved exclusively for the race track.
The new Panamera range as a whole, along with the Macan Turbo equipped with performance package, was also unveiled to the public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show.
The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid delivers a system power of 462bhp, thanks to the combination of a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine with an output of 330bhp and a 100kW electric motor. The maximum torque of the vehicle is 700Nm with an electric range of 50km.
Boasting a completely redeveloped drive, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will take to the starting line on the world's race tracks from 2017. The rear of the world's most-produced GT racing car now houses a 4.0-litre, six-cylinder flat engine for even more drive. Thanks to thoroughbred motorsport technology, the compact engine with direct fuel injection delivers peak performance of 485bhp.
