Honda has officially launched the world premiere of the fifth generation all new Honda City in Thailand with a new, turbocharged 1.0-litre engine.

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has officially launched the fifth generation all new Honda City in Thailand.

A new RS model is also being offered for the first time in Thailand
The new model's exterior design combines uncompromising sportiness and elegance, while the cabin has been improved to deliver increased levels of spaciousness.

Driving performance is taken to the next level with a new turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine that delivers 120bhp and 173Nm of torque for the ultimate in performance combined with superior fuel efficiency. Mated to a continuously variable transmission, the engine will return a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.8km/L.

An RS variant of the Honda City is also being offered for the first time in Thailand, offering a sportier look thanks to a Gloss Black front grille with a 'RS' logo emblem, LED head lights with LED daytime running lights, LED fog lights, a Gloss Black trunk spoiler with an 'RS' logo, and new sporty-design 16-inch alloy wheels.

Redesigned interior will deliver increased levels of spaciousness
The cabin is also fully equipped to reflect the car's sporty intentions with newly-designed suede leather seats with red stitching, a multi-information display with red illumination, and the latest generation of Honda Connect technology. A new exterior colour, Ignite Red is also offered for the RS model.

To enhance confidence in all driving conditions, the all new Honda City's advanced safety systems include six airbags, an anti-lock braking system, Electronic Brake Distribution, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, and a multi-angle rearview camera.
