Porsche announces the official prices and commencement of sales for the Porsche Taycan, available to order from Porsche Centre Singapore.

Porsche enters a new era of electromobility with the Taycan, its first fully-electric sports car. The four-door sports sedan is a thoroughbred Porsche, offering renowned Porsche performance and state-of-the-art technology.

The Porsche Taycan is now available in Singapore and orders can be placed with Porsche Centre Singapore. Moreover, Porsche Singapore will be hosting its first ever virtual launch for the Taycan later this year.

The Taycan can also be charged at public charging stations islandwide
In the meantime, exclusive previews of this innovative model and double winner of World Luxury Car and World Performance Car of the Year 2020 will be available by appointment only.

Taycan customers will enjoy the same complimentary and comprehensive five-year maintenance and warranty programme offered for all Porsche cars by Porsche Centre Singapore, with the battery covered under an eight-year warranty. Customers will get the option to extend the vehicle warranty up to a total of 10 years.

Established as the future High-Voltage Expert (HVE) training hub in Porsche's Asia Pacific region, Porsche Centre Singapore is the only official Porsche appointed agent in Singapore that is able to handle the servicing of Porsche Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), as well as the testing and storage of Porsche BEV batteries according to Porsche standards. A BEV training car as part of the Porsche Aftersales Vocational Education programme is situated at the Service Centre to facilitate hands-on and interactive training for qualified Porsche HVE.

The Taycan is the first production electric car to operate at a system voltage of 800V, doubling the usual 400V
Porsche offers intelligent and holistic charging solutions for the Taycan models. Various Porsche Charging equipment will be available, including the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect, the Porsche Charging Dock and Charging Pedestal, and the Porsche Home Energy Manager. Complimentary home or office charging check and installation by an appointed certified electrical specialist will also be offered.

The Taycan is the first production vehicle with a system voltage of 800V instead of the usual 400V for electric cars, dramatically reducing the charging time at highly powered charging points and decreasing the wiring cable's weight and installation space needed in the vehicle.

Under optimal conditions at 800V charging stations, with a peak charging capacity of 270kW, the battery can be recharged for an additional range of up to 100km according to Worldwide harmonised Light vehicle Test Procedure in just over five minutes. Additionally, the charging time from a 5% to an 80% state of charge is 22.5 minutes. For 400V charging points, an on-board DC charger with 150kW is equipped as standard. Furthermore, a standard on-board AC charger with 11kW allows the battery to be fully and gently charged in approximately nine hours.

With the renowned sporty roofline sloping downward to the rear, the Taycan is immediately recognisable as a Porsche
Distinguishing features of the Taycan Turbo S fitted as standard include the extremely lightweight Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake and exquisite carbon exterior elements.

LED Matrix head lights including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus are equipped as standard for the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo, while the Taycan 4S comes with LED head lights including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus.

The alloy wheels fitted on all models - 21-inch, 20-inch and 19-inch for the Taycan Turbo S, Taycan Turbo and Taycan 4S respectively - have been optimised in terms of aerodynamics and weight.

In addition to numerous paint finishes, such as Aurum or Deep Black Metallic, Exclusive Design Wheels with carbon aeroblades are available as customisation options. An entire leather-free interior is fitted as standard for the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo, and is an available option for the Taycan 4S.

Interiors made from innovative recycled materials underscore the sustainable concept of the electric sports car. The first models in the new series - the Taycan Turbo S, Taycan Turbo and Taycan 4S - are available at the following retail prices without COE which includes a five-year free maintenance and warranty package, registration and additional registration fee, 12-months road tax, VES rebate, and GST.
