The new Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended offers the indulgence of enhanced rear seating space with no compromise to the Ghost's driving dynamics.

Rolls-Royce has revealed the new Ghost Extended, offering customers the indulgence of enhanced rear seating space with no compromise to the Ghost's driving dynamics.

The Ghost Extended offers 170mm more space than the regular Ghost, providing more rear legroom than any four-seat sedan with the exception of a Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended.

Only the rear door and body around the rear door apertures have been extended in order to preserve the lines of the car
The marque's designers have also worked to cloak the extra length by only extending the rear door and body around the rear door apertures, preserving the lines of the car.

A suite of enhancements to the rear of the cabin reflects the Ghost Extended's flexibility. For the first time, a reclining Serenity Seat can be selected, offering a new dimension of rear seat comfort akin to a business jet cabin environment.

The rear cabin also provides the perfect environment to transition from business to leisure. To enhance this, a Champagne fridge is provided between the rear seats.

The Ghost Extended is said to provide more rear legroom than any four-seat sedan, with the exception of a Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended
Rolls-Royce has consulted with a Master Sommelier in order to arrive at the two cooling modes offered by the fridge - chilling is offered to six degrees and 11 degrees.

These two temperatures are said to be the optimum serving temperatures of non-vintage Champagne and vintage Champagnes respectively.

The marque's hallmark Magic Carpet Ride, delivered by a new Planar Suspension System, has been retained in the Ghost Extended.

Power is likewise also provided by the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged engine developed exclusively for the Ghost. It produces 563bhp and 850Nm of torque.
