Cat A COE - Premiums at highest levels since 2017

This climb takes premiums for Cat A to their highest they have been so far for 2021. Premiums for Cat A have not seen such highs since November of 2017. Premiums for the category now stand at 21.7% above the 12-month trailing average.
The number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the available quota by 34%. This figure has averaged 52% for Cat A in the last 12 months.
Cat B COE - Premiums climb $2,000, ending three-session slip

Premiums climbed by $2,000 (4.4%) this bidding session to end at $47,001. The lastest climb has brought premiums for the category up to 17.5% above the 12-month trailing average.
The total number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the quota available by 29%, lower than the 12-month average of 52%.
Cat C COE - Premiums climb $2,076
Premiums for Cat C, for goods vehicles and buses, increased by $2,076 (5.5%) to end at $39,589.
Cat E COE - Smaller climb this session for Cat E

The premium for this bidding round now stands at 17.9% above the 12-month trailing average and is at the 81st percentile of the premiums of the last 12 months.
The number of unsuccessful bids this round exceeded the available quota by 44%. The 12-month trailing average for this figure is 55%.
