Designed for global markets, Nissan's new all-electric crossover will be built at the EV36Zero facility on the Alliance CMF-EV platform.

Nissan unveiled Nissan EV36Zero, a SGD1.86 billion flagship Electric Vehicle (EV) Hub, creating a world-first EV manufacturing ecosystem.

Cantered around the record-breaking plant, which will be constructed in Sunderland, U.K., Nissan EV36Zero will supercharge the company's drive to carbon neutrality and establish a new 360-degree solution for emissions-free motoring.

EV36Zero will produce up to 100,000 units of Nissan's upcoming EV
As part of the announcement, Nissan will invest up to SGD786 million to produce a next generation all-electric vehicle in the U.K. Building on Nissan's expertise in crossovers and the Nissan Leaf's worldwide success, it promises next generation styling, efficiency and battery technology, making the switch to electric driving even more accessible.

Designed for global markets, the new crossover will be built on the Alliance CMF-EV platform, with a forecasted production capacity of up to 100,000 units.

The transformational project has been launched with an initial multibillion dollar investment by Nissan and its partner Envision AESC, a specialist in world-leading battery technology. Nissan EV36Zero brings together electric vehicles, renewable energy and battery production, setting a blueprint for the future of the automotive industry.

Envision AESC will deploy integrated smart technology to monitor and optimise energy consumption, manufacturing, and maintenance at its new megafactory, enabling it to provide batteries to power up to 100,000 Nissan electric vehicles a year.
