With the arrival of the Subaru BRZ imminent, Motor Image Enterprises has confirmed that it will be available here with the six-speed manual transmission.

Great news! Motor Image Enterprises, exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Singapore, has not only announced that the arrival of the Subaru BRZ is now imminent, but that the car will also be available here with the six-speed manual gearbox!

New for this generation of the classic front-engine, rear-drive sports coupe is the use of a 2.4-litre four-cylinder boxer engine, tuned in this vehicle to produce 230bhp and 250Nm of torque. As mentioned, the car will be available here with a six-speed manual, although a six-speed paddle-shift automatic will also be offered.

Completely redesigned cabin sports a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster alongside an 8.0-inch infotainemnt screen
And to pair with that performance is a new bespoke chassis, said to have gained from elements used in the Subaru Global Platform to increase its overall rigidity. At the rear, a Torsen limited-slip differential will ensure high levels of grip when powering through corners.

In the cabin, expect Singapore-bound models to feature a completely redesigned cockpit, complete with leather/Ultrasuede combination seats, as well as a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with a central tachometer. This cluster will pair with an 8.0-inch infotainment screen, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Expect the Subaru BRZ to retail here from $120,888 (exclusive of COE) for the model equipped with the manual gearbox. This price is also inclusive of a $2,500 finance rebate and an in-house insurance rebate of $300. The automatic gearbox-equipped model will come with a $10,000 premium.
