Your comprehensive guide to the first 2026 The Car Expo

Scouring the automotive markets for a good deal? We've got you covered. 2026's first iteration of The Car Expo is happening right now on the weekend of 9 to 10 May 2026, with deals and thrills galore.

From sneak peeks of new models coming to our sunny shores, car launches at the event itself, and event-exclusive prices that should not be missed, here's what you need to know from all the participating automotive brands at the first 2026 The Car Expo.

The ES350e is offered at a price of $403,800

Starting things off is the Lexus booth, which sees the showcase of the ES350e - previously previewed at the 2026 SG Motor Show. The fully electric, front-wheel driven sedan is currently on sale for a price of $403,800. And with every purchase from Lexus, customers can look forward to up to $40,000 in benefits.

Head over to Zeekr's booth next to see the Zeekr X Urban debuting a new exterior colour for the first time: Porcelain Pink. This new hue will also be added to all variants in the Zeekr X's model range. In addition, the brand is offering exclusive event promotions with every purchase. These include 10-year battery warranty, up to six-years of free servicing, and an eight-year motor warranty.

Next up is the fourth preview of the S05 at Deepal's booth. We say fourth because according to the brand, this model has already been showcased thrice: At Deepal's local brand launch (March 2025), last year's first The Car Expo (May 2025), and at the 2026 SG Motor Show.

This time though, the brand has said that the S05 will be launched in the next month or two. Fingers crossed. And if you're there, why not check out the Stealth Edition of the S07 too?  Cloaked in a beautiful matt black paintjob, the model is offered at a price of $199,999 with additional "celebratory" deals as part of Deepal’s one-year anniversary.

The Aion UT is the brand's newest model and is offered at a starting price of $169,988

Next up are two brands locally distributed by the VINCAR Group: Aion and Proton.

The Aion V now sees both its variants, Premium and Luxury, offered at a starting price of $179,988 and $188,988 respectively. Aion's newest model - the Aion UT compact hatchback - is also offered from a starting price of $169,988 and $173,988 for both its Standard and Premium variants respectively.

All prices are only for this iteration of The Car Expo and also come with promotions such as a $2,000 cash rebate and $6,000 off (only for the Assure Plus package of the Aion V).

Elsewhere, Proton celebrated the official local launch of the e.MAS 5 at the event, which now joins the e.MAS 7 in the brand's local lineup. The e.MAS 5 is an all-electric hatchback that comes with a 40.16kWh battery offering a WLTP driving range of 325km and a maximum DC rate of 71kW, allowing it to recharge from 30-80% in 21 minutes.

This model is offered at an event-exclusive price of $159,988 (including COE) alongside promotions such as $2,000 cash rebate and cross border warranty, the latter of which should come as a "peace of mind" option to those making regular trips into Malaysia.

Legacy brand Honda also showcased its local lineup at the event

Ever the mainstay in legacy car conversations, Honda is also present at the event with a lineup of Cat A and Cat B COE models. And while the promotions may differ across both, customers can expect a $6,000 discount, up to six-years of complimentary servicing, an event-exclusive bonus bundle worth up to $1,948, a free in-car camera, and a free upgrade to a guaranteed COE (limited units), among others.

Cycle & Carriage has also brought four of its brands to the event: Leapmotor, Kia, Maxus, and ORA. But it's the latter that we're most interested in, in part due to the preview of a new, upcoming model: The ORA 5.

This is ORA's first SUV model in its local lineup, and while it also made a preview at the 2026 SG Motor Show, C&C has said that the model currently on show at The Car Expo 2026 is a Singapore-specced model. In layman terms, "what you see is what you get".

And across all four of C&C's brands present at the event, eventgoers can expect a discount of $10,000 across the board. Not enough? C&C is also offering the chance at a "cash grab machine", where quick reflexes and wits may just earn buyers more discounts on top of the aforementioned $10,000.

Audi is offering tasty discounts on all its models at the event

Wander over to Audi's booth, where the brand has brought an attractive lineup with event-exclusive prices and discounts galore. These include the A3 Sedan mild-hybrid ($199,999), Q6 e-tron ($299,999), Q3 SUV ($245,999), and Q3 Sportback ($250,999). And with every purchase, Audi is offering customers the chance to claim their sure-win prize from a pool of up to $58,000 in value, which includes premium tech gadgets and luxury staycations.

While you're there, pop by BMW's booth to check out a new version of the iX1, which is currently being previewed and is not yet available for sale. Displayed for the first time to the public, this exact model is a Singapore-specced model, so expect everything to remain the same come its eventual local launch.

BMW is celebrating its 110th year in existence with "birthday" offers throughout the year

BMW is also celebrating 110 years of existence, with "birthday" offers for its customers throughout the year. The brand has also said that the iX3 - the first of the new Neue Klasse models - will be launching in June 2026, so there's more to look forward to for fans of the brand this year.

And at the first 2026 The Car Expo, BMW will be offering promotions such as sure-win prizes totalling over $110,000 with every purchase, as well as free one-year petrol worth up to $5,000 (terms and conditions apply for both).

Fans of Japanese cars will want to check out Toyota's booth too, where the brand is offering the Corolla Altis Hybrid or a Prius Hybrid at a price of only $199,888.

And with every purchase of a Toyota hybrid vehicle, buyers can look forward to event-exclusive promotions such as free 1,000 litres of fuel (with applicable vehicle trade-ins), 10-years road tax inclusive, 10-years complimentary servicing, 10-years battery warranty, and a sure-win spin and win (with prizes such as an iPhone 17).

That’s not all: Every purchase of Toyota's newest local model, the all-electric bZ4X, will come with 10-years complimentary servicing, 10-years battery warranty, 10-years roadside support, 6-years vehicle warranty, and 2-years Paint Protection Plus. Terms and conditions apply.

We're continuing the Japanese trend here with another legacy brand: Mazda. Event-exclusive prices are offered for its popular models such as the CX-5 mild-hybrid in both its Luxury and Luxury Sports trims ($237,888 and $257,888 respectively). Mazda will also be offering customers the chance to play and win exclusive brand-inspired merchandise such as a Tomica model car and a tote bag.

Eurokars has brought the MG and IM brands to the event

Next on the list are two brands locally distributed by Eurokars: MG Singapore and IM Motors.

The former recently celebrated the local launch of the MG4 Urban hatchback, and this spacious FWD model is now being offered at a starting price of $184,888. This is also offered alongside the popular MGS5, which will come with event-exclusive promotions such as one-year free road tax, $500 in MG Care vouchers, 500kWh of Shell Recharge credits, a Dyson hair dryer, and a chance at a peel and win with more than $50,000 in prizes. Terms and conditions apply for all.

On to IM Motors, which sees both the IM5 and IM6 going for event-exclusive prices starting from $226,888 and $231,888 respectively. Purchases of any IM vehicle will see event-exclusive promotions such as one-year free road tax, $500 in IM Care vouchers, 500kWh of Shell Recharge credits, a Dyson hair dryer, and a chance at a peel and win with more than $50,000 in prizes.

MINI is showcasing the debut of the Countryman One, a new, higher-spec variant than the entry-level Countryman C

Lest we forget MINI, another brand under the Eurokars Group umbrella. At the 2026 The Car Expo, the brand is launching the MINI Countryman One variant, a higher spec of the entry-level Countryman C that is also making its first public appearance.

The difference can be seen in terms of the interior trimmings and on its rims (black instead of grey). The Countryman One also comes with a Favoured trim, only previously seen on the Countryman S ALL4, and is offered at an event-exclusive price of $271,000.

Volvo is also making an appearance at the event, with promotional prices for the EX30 (limited units) and ES90 starting from $189,999 and $308,888 respectively. All purchases also come with 10-year free servicing, five-year free unlimited data for both Singapore and Malaysia, as well as five-year warranty and roadside assistance.

Eventgoers should definitely also stop by Hyundai's booth to get a glimpse of the facelifted Ioniq 6 N Line, previewed and shown to the public in Singapore for the first time. As with most of the previews here at the 2026 The Car Expo, this model on show is also Singapore-specced, though it is currently not for sale as of yet.

But that's not all the reason to stop by Hyundai's booth: The brand is also offering a free model upgrade for the Kona Hybrid. What this means is that buyers who purchase the Kona S (offered at $205,999) will receive a free upgrade to the Elite trim, which offers savings of exactly $10,000.

BYD brings its hugely popular lineup to the 2026 The Car Expo

And of course, BYD also makes an appearance at the event, bringing along its all-new Seal 6 DM-i, which celebrated its local launch just two days prior.

In addition to attractive prices for popular models like the Atto 3 and Sealion 7, BYD is also offering event-exclusive promotions such as a grand draw of $100,000 to be won, as well as hourly lucky draws (stackable) of up to $66,000 in shopping vouchers.

DENZA is also showcasing a preview of its Z9 GT sportswagon, again yet another Singapore-specced model not yet for sale

Those with more expensive taste can also head over to the DENZA booth. BYD Auto's luxury sub-brand is showcasing the preview of the Z9 GT sportswagon. And yes, this preview model is also Singapore-specced, meaning that once again, what you see is what you get.

All DENZA models at the event - this includes the D9 and B5 - will get discounts of up to $15,000. Further discounts may vary between dealers, as DENZA models are also sold by Harmony Auto, Sime Motors, and Motor East.

However, the prices at the 2026 The Car Expo will also apply to all DENZA and BYD showrooms islandwide for this weekend (this includes BYD by 1826, which did not make an appearance at the event).

The E-Outback makes its first public appearance at the 2026 The Car Expo

Subaru is also showcasing its all-new E-Outback - which made its local debut a few days prior at a media-only event - to the public for the first time. And for this model (along with the Solterra XT), Subaru is offering 10-year free servicing and battery warranty.

And for every purchase, Subaru is also offering event-exclusive promotions such as a sure-win spin and win with prizes of up to $1,000 in value, as well as a chance to enter a lucky draw for a Brompton C Line bicycle worth $3,100.

Nissan has also brought its lineup to the event

Legacy car fans will be delighted to also note that Nissan is also boothing at the event, with event-exclusive prices for models such as the Ariya EV (from $199,800), Qashqai (from $215,800), and Serena e-POWER ($216,800). Buyers can also look forward to free one-year road tax, free ceramic coating, and free solar film, among others.

Omoda and Jaecoo is also showcasing their all-new Jaecoo 5 and Jaecoo 8 models at the 2026 The Car Expo, both of which only recently celebrated their local launch together and are offered with a $15,000 launch discount.

At this event, the Jaecoo 5 is offered at a starting price of $171,999, while the flagship Jaecoo 8 is offered at a starting price of $241,999. Buyers can also look forward to up to 40% charging discounts with Charge+.

Head over to Dongfeng's booth, where you can get the Dongfeng Box at a starting price of $156,888, the lowest we've seen so far from any brand at this event. And with every purchase of any Dongfeng model, the brand will offer free 10-year servicing and up to $15,000 of accessories. This only applies for purchases made at this event.

Dongfeng is offering a free "higher tier" upgrade for those who purchase the 007 Premium

But the offers don't just stop there - for every purchase of the Dongfeng 007, the brand is offering free paint protection film wrapping. And if you decide to get the 007's Premium variant (200kW), Dongfeng will offer you a free upgrade to the Performance variant (400kW).

Next up are three brands under the Volkswagen Group Singapore (VGS) umbrella: Volkswagen, Cupra, and Skoda. Purchases from all three brands allow customers the chance to earn up to $50,000 worth of airline miles, as well as a low 2.08% interest rate and sure-win prizes including an iPhone Air.

Individually, for every purchase, Volkswagen is offering a complimentary two-year road tax and $3,000 worth of petrol vouchers, as well as a complimentary protection package (ceramic coating, dent and scratch protection, and solar film upgrade) worth up to $1,800.

Meanwhile, Skoda customers can look forward to attractive offers such as dollar-to-dollar COE rebates and guaranteed COE with two bids.

And we're saving the best for last: Cupra has debuted its Leon Aniversario Edition at the event, which will be priced at $179,000 for a limited time. This mild-hybrid hatchback, alongside all other Cupra models, is also offered with dollar-to-dollar COE rebates and guaranteed COE with two bids.

Lastly, we turn our attention to XPENG, which is showcasing two of its models: The G6 SUV and the X9 MPV. One interesting fact to note about the latter is that it is currently the fastest charging vehicle in Singapore, with an all-time high maximum DC rate of 542kW on its Long Range variant (the Standard Range isn't too far off with 537kW, either).

At the event, XPENG will be offering the G6 SUV at a starting price of $209,999 and the X9 MPV at a starting price of $336,999. Other event-exclusive deals include 10-year battery warranty, five-years of free servicing, one year of free road tax, and a free solar film, among others.
