The LTA has announced that the ERP rates for gantries located along the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Central Expressway (CTE) will go up by $1.00 starting from 14 February 2022.
The increase in ERP charges come about as the authority has noticed increased traffic build up along these stretches, which it attributes to more people returning to their workplaces as work from home restrictions have been eased since 1 January 2022.
The LTA also stated that traffic speeds have remained generally optimal on all arterial roads, including those within the Central Business District. ERP charges will thus remain at $0 at these locations until its next review.
The adjusted prices are reflected in the table below, while other previously announced time-slots/ gantries remain unchanged. The LTA will continue to monitor traffic speeds and congestion levels closely and assess if ERP rates need to be further adjusted as safe management measures continue to evolve.
