BMW M has revealed the first undisguised look at the M3 Touring, lifting the covers off the rear-end of the car in a short video released to celebrate the history of the model.
The car looks set to get the elegant taillights of the M3 Sedan, coupled with a strong, chiseled rear. As you might expect, a quad exhaust system is housed within a sizable diffuser of the M3 Touring. The video also states that the car is set to get a 3D printed roof mounted spoiler, which, on the example teased in the video is finished in gloss black, matching the finish on the car's roof rails.
We are expecting the BMW M3 Touring to sport the same 3.0-litre six cylinder as the M3 Sedan, producing 473bhp, although it could arrive here as the 503bhp Competition variant, as per the M3 Sedan. No official reveal date has been announced as yet, but the M3 Touring would make for a rather nice birthday present when BMW M celebrates its 50th anniversary come 24 May 2022, don't you think?
