Hyundai has released a tuning kit for their Genesis coupe prepared by GReddy Performance Parts, for the 2009 SEMA Show

The SEMA, or Specialty Equipment Market Association, Show is held annually in Las Vegas, and is one of the biggest automotive aftermarket parts shows in the world. The Hyundai Genesis coupe was shown with modified parts from tuners like Rhys Millen Racing, Street Concepts and HKS last year, but GReddy Performance Parts have been chosen as Hyundai's partner for this year's SEMA Show.

The show car that GReddy will present at the SEMA Show is called the GReddy X-Gen Street Genesis Coupe and features an exterior styling kit, interior mods and an engine upgrade. The standard 2.0 litre engine from the Genesis coupe has been given a turbo kit, a large front-mounted intercooler and a SE Spectrum Elite cat-back exhaust system. There is also a Type-S fully adjustable coil-over suspension, six-piston front and four-piston rear brake callipers as well.

Power output is expected to be around 350bhp and 434Nm of torque, with a 0-100km/h time of around 6 seconds. GReddy says however, that more changes are in store to boost the power output up to 500bhp after the SEMA Show.

On the outside, the modified Genesis coupe boasts of an aero lip spoiler, a carbon fibre bonnet and an aggressive rear spoiler. The interior comes with Sparco racing seats, a boost controller, a turbo timer, some modified gauges and a remote switching system.
