ERP rates are set to go up across the island starting from 30 May 2022.
The new changes come following the LTA's latest review of ERP rates. Based on its monitoring of traffic speeds at various stretches of expressways, a total of 19 time periods across eight locations have been identified for ERP rate increases.
However, in view of the upcoming school holidays, ERP rates for six time periods across three locations will be implemented only after the school holidays, that is, 27 June 2022. For the other 13 time periods across seven locations where low speeds would likely persist throughout the June school holidays, ERP rates will be increased by $1.00 with effect from 30 May 2022.
Meanwhile, 14 other time periods across five locations will see an ERP rate reduction during the June school holiday period from 30 May 2022 and will revert to the pre-school holiday charges from 27 June 2022 onwards.
The new ERP rate adjustments are produced in the tables below.
