Mercedes has given its A-Class a refresh. The highlight of the interior are the 7.0‑inch and the larger 10.25‑inch display which take centre stage. A revised steering wheel upholstered in Nappa leather now comes as standard.
The regreshed A-Class has also been given an update in terms of safety. With the upgrade of the Driver Assistance Package, the control of the Lane Keeping Assist is made more comfortable by using the Active Steering Control.
The twin 10.25-inch displays continue to feature in the interior of the refreshed A-Class The next generation of Parking Package is included in the refreshed A-Class, supporting longitudinal parking and 360-degree visualisation for camera-assisted parking using 3D images.
The refreshed A-Class has also received an update to its engines. The petrol engine range has been electrified throughout and includes four-cylinder units with a seven or eight-speed dual-clutch transmission as standard. These are equipped with an additional 48V electrical system that supports agility when starting off.
The new belt-driven starter-generator noticeably improves the comfort and experience for customers of the refreshed A-Class. During starting operations, for example, the starter-generator ensures a lower-vibration and quieter start than conventional starters.
