RM Sotheby's will be offering a 1990 Ferrari Testarossa Pininfarina Spider 'Special Production' at its London sale on 5 November 2022.
Only one Testarossa Spider was built by the factory for Fiat boss Gianni Agnelli, with a number of special production cars built by Pininfarina, seven examples created for Brunei royalty and a small number of additional cars for important clients.
The Testarossa Pininfarina Spider is expected to sell for $1,900,000 to $2,500,000 RM Sotheby's even created a film that brings the iconic 'OutRun' game to life, since said game featured a red Testarossa Spider, similar to the very car that is up for auction.
The example offered was supplied new to the owner and remains unregistered with less than 500km.
It has been thoroughly well cared for throughout its life, and was recently subject to over $248,000 worth of work by Pininfarina and Zanasi. This example of the Testarossa Pininfarina Spider currently has an estimate of $1,900,000 to $2,500,000.
