The LTA has announced that ERP rates will climb upwards, starting from 19 November 2022.
A total of nine timeslots across six locations have been identified for ERP rate increases as traffic speeds at these timeslots have fallen below the optimal speed range. However, in view of the upcoming December school holidays, ERP rates for four of the time periods across three locations will be implemented only from 3 January 2023.
ERP rates will go up by $1.00 at five time periods across three locations come 19 November 2022 The other five time periods across three locations will see ERP rates increasing by $1.00 with effect from 19 November 2022.
Meanwhile, seven other time periods across four locations will see a temporary ERP rate reduction during the December school holiday period, from 19 November 2022 and will revert to the pre-school holiday charges from 3 January 2023 onwards.
