After putting its e-4orce system to the test delivering bowls of ramen, Nissan has now released a new video highlighting how the same technology has the potential to reduce motion sickness for both people and their canine companions.

The firm's all-wheel drive system manages the forces at each wheel through control of the brakes and twin high-output motors. The system is said to mitigate pitch and dive under acceleration and braking, minimising vehicle body movement which in turn, leads to a reduction of carsickness.

e-4orce can also calculate cornering loads in response to driver inputs and road conditions, and adjust the driving power of all four wheels, ensuring a powerful and responsive driving experience, even on winding or slippery roads.

The e-4orce technology is available on the Nissan X-Trail and all-electric Ariya.
