Kia has revealed new teaser clips of the EV9 on its YouTube channel.
The first video, which highlights the car's front lighting signature, has been embedded above. More videos are set to follow, which will showcase the car's blend of sleek, sculptural and geometric design.
Like the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Hyundai Ioniq 6, the Kia EV9 is built upon the E-GMP (short for 'Electric Global Modular Platform') dedicated battery electric vehicle platform. Kia has previously stated that the EV9 has undergone a 44-month development period, which included durability testing at the firm's R&D centre in Namyang, South Korea.
A full reveal of both the exterior and interior design of the Kia EV9 is scheduled for March 2023. Sgcarmart understands that the car is additionally scheduled to arrive here in late 2023.
