Bentley Motors has launched the 2023 edition of its Extraordinary Women initiative.
The global mentoring programme seeks to inspire and develop the next generation of young female leaders, specifically female students in the fields of engineering, design, technology and business.
The 2023 programme expands its reach from last year in the U.K., and is also being rolled out for the first time in Saudi Arabia. It forms part of the marque's wider commitment to diversity and inclusion under its Beyond100 strategy, and is designed to encourage women to consider careers in STEM and the automotive sector.
This year's programme sees Bentley collaborating with U.K. universities including Loughborough, Bath, Warwick and Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as the Dar Al Hekma University in Saudi Arabia.
Bentley will work with the universities to identify students who will take part in the programme. Those selected will be able to enjoy one-to-one mentoring with experienced Bentley staff, and attend a one-week programme at Bentley headquarters in Crewe come June, where they will work with Bentley teams on live projects to put the learnings from their mentoring experience to good use.
