Polestar has unveiled a new Polestar 2 BST edition 230.
The new edition Polestar 2 comes after the first BST edition 270, revealed in June 2022, but is said to put more focus on design details.
The MicroSuede textile that upholsters the seats of the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 are made from partly recycled Nubuck textile These design touches include the use of model-exclusive green Nebula paintwork, as well as MicroSuede textile for the seats and steering wheel inserts, made from partly recycled Nubuck textile.
The exterior of this Polestar 2 BST edition 230 can also be ordered in Space (black), with an optional full-length body stripe available for either body colour. The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 comes with a total of 469bhp and 680Nm of torque, as with the BST edition 270.
Also repeated here with the edition 230 are all the chassis upgrades of the edition 270, including a lowered ride height (of 25mm), the use of specially developed Ohlins two-way adjustable dampers, additional front strut bar, as well as 20% stiffer springs.
The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 also gets 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by those on the Polestar 1, which wear Pirelli P Zero tyres, specially developed for the BST edition cars.
Polestar states that a total of 230 units of the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 will be produced for the European and North American markets, with deliveries expected to begin from the third quarter of 2023.
