Polestar has unveiled a new 'Beast', said to be the most dynamic electric driver's car yet from Polestar Engineered.
This Polestar 2 BST edition 270 will be limited to just 270 examples, all currently scheduled for just Europe, North America, and China.
The Polestar 2 BST edition 270 will be offered with an optional matt black body stipe that runs the length of the vehicle The limited edition car utilises the same electric motors and 78kWh battery as the long-range dual-motor Polestar 2, but comes already equipped with the latest power bump that was made available via an over-the-air software update, and thus generates a maximum of 470bhp alongside a total of 680Nm of torque.
Hardware upgrades to the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 meanwhile, comprise of a 25mm lowered ride height, courtesy of unique Ohlins two-way adjustable dampers.
A front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs, and new matte black 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by those of the Polestar 1, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres specially developed for the model also further improve handling.
The limited edition car will be available only in either the Thunder or Snow exterior colours with a Charcoal WeaveTech interior, and will come complete with fully-painted bumpers and side skirts. And that matte black body stripe you see in the pictures will also be available as an option, as well as a full-body Battleship Gray satin wrap.
The car also retains the signature 'Swedish gold' details on its brake calipers, damper elements, valve caps and seatbelts.
