  • Smart reveals first sketches of new #3

Smart has revealed the first sketches of its new #3, which looks set to be a sportier companion to the #1 which the firm revealed last year.

The revived Smart brand has revealed the preliminary design details of what is set to become Smart #3, the second vehicle to join the now all-electric premium car brand's lineup.

The Smart #3 looks set to get a design that is more athletic than the #1, with the early drawings hinting at the use of a curvy body coupled with a more dramatically sloping roofline at its rear.

The use of a 'shark nose' front, A-shaped grille, as well as the slim LED head lights, meanwhile, have all been retained from the Smart #1. At the rear, the Smart #3 looks set to get strong rear fender and bumpers, alongside a prominent spoiler. The car is additionally said to get taillights that feature pixelated elements.

Smart states that more details on the new Smart #3 will be released at a later stage.
