The Opel Mokka Electric gets a racking system in its rear thanks to service car by conversion specialists Bott GmbH & Co. KG.

Opel has revealed a new two-seater commercial vehicle based on the Mokka Electric, just a month after it revealed this new Vivaro-e-based campervan.

Just like the Alpincamper Vivaro, this special Mokka Electric comes courtesy of a third-party conversion specialist.

The racking system will allow efficient organisation of all the equipment that any professional may need when out in the field
Here, Bott GmbH & Co. KG have taken the compact Mokka and turned it into a local emissions-free commercial vehicle, thanks to the installation of a bott vario3 racking system at the rear, which will allow professionals to bring all the necessary tools they might need to carry out their duties in the field.

This racking system is carried on a safety frame that is securely attached to the vehicle's body and allows for efficient organisation of equipment and even distribution of weight. Should there still be a need for more storage space, the system can also be removed.

Opel states that Bott has additionally confirmed the safety of various configurations of its racking equipment in crash tests of loaded cars, and should the vehicle be involved in an accident, nothing stored in the modules should fall out, and the drawers will remain closed.

The Opel Mokka Electric service vehicle continues to be powered by a 134bhp electric motor and a 50kWh battery that can be recharged to an 80% state-of-charge in just 30 minutes via a 100kW direct current supply, ensuring that any tradesman can return to business swiftly.
