We may try our best to stay out of the sun here in Singapore, but closer to the North Pole, say, for example in Sweden, the winter will see only a few hours between sunrise and sunset.

So, it's not hard to see why Volvo is keen to install these SunLike LEDs within the EX90. As the name suggests, these LEDs will light the interior of the car with a near-sunlight spectrum of light, allowing the progressive materials and interior design of the electric SUV to stand out more clearly and without colour distortion.

But adopting the SunLike LED technology isn't just about design. Volvo states that the tech will also come with a host of health benefits as a result of the suppression of blue-light and the reduction of non-flickering light in the cabin, which can help reduce eyestrain and headaches associated with such exposure.
