Acura has announced that the Acura Integra Type S will be turbocharging a new season of Chiaki's Journey - an animated series that featured the Acura lineup when it made its debut in January 2022.
The series is now returning with a new second season with four episodes, featuring the new Integra Type S as the car makes its debut at the 48th annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. This new season will pick up where season one left off, revealing more about Chiaki's father Ichiro, along with Ichiro's teammate from the past, called P, as Chiaki takes on Colorado's daunting Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the new 2024 Integra Type S.
Acura states that the first season of the animated series has been viewed nearly 275 million times, making it Acura's most successfully viewed campaign to date. A teaser of the new season has been embedded above.
The animated series will also be brought to life as the Acura Integra Type S is make its motorsports debut come 25 June 2023 at The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb piloted by successful Racer, Loni Unser.
