Hyundai has revealed the first images of the facelifted Elantra N at Auto Shanghai 2023.
The images come as part of an announcement that the firm is to embark on a full-scale launch of its performance N sub-brand in China.
The car looks set to continue to sport red accents across its side sills, alongside a redesigned rear bumper Those that didn't appreciate the extensive angularity of the previous iteration of the car are sure to be pleased. Official information is still scant, but the pictures already reveal that the car is set to get a redesigned lighting signature, complete with a full-width LED light bar across its front not unlike the recently revealed Sonata.
The front bumper also has been extensively revised, so the car gets a more planted stance while the triangular mesh pattern within the grille now receives less emphasis.
The sides and rear of the car look set to receive less extensive changes, with the use of red accents along the bumpers and side sill mouldings retained. However, the keener eyed will spot that the car now has its badging now finished in black, while the black section of the rear bumper has also been enlarged.
Hyundai has revealed that it plans to launch the N performance sub-brand in China starting with the Elantra N in the second half of 2023. This will be followed by the all-electric Ioniq 5 N in July of 2023.
