The MINI Convertible Seaside Edition packs plenty of heat with its 176bhp 2.0-litre engine but can be had in a cool Caribbean Aqua exterior colour.

Can't get enough of the sweltering weather we've been getting? MINI has just the car for you: The MINI Convertible Seaside Edition.

Now available here in Singapore, the special edition compact convertible comes here solely as a MINI Cooper S which is equipped with a 2.0-litre, 176bhp engine that will see the car hitting 100km/h from a standstill in 6.9 seconds.

The front apron of the MINI Convertible Seaside Edition features a stylised '30' graphic
And if that pace is finally enough to get you sweating, there's also the option to flip that black electrically operated soft top up, a process which can be done at speeds of up to 30km/h.

On the outside, the MINI Convertible Seaside Edition is distinguished by exterior design touches that include the use of a unique graphic on the front apron. This takes the form of a stylised '30', calling attention to the models' anniversary.

The car also comes with a maritime-inspired Caribbean Aqua exterior colour, completing the meeting of sun and sea. An alternative Nanuq White finish is also offered, said to be reminiscent of spotted clouds set against a deep-blue summer sky.

The key fob of the special edition car gets a decorative wave pattern finished in iridescent blue
The car additionally comes with 'Seaside' lettering on its side scuttles, while the rear of the convertible similarly sports an exclusive 'Seaside' lettering, here in sporty orange. The exterior of the car is completed with stylised floating wheel caps that feature the number 30.

In the cabin, this 'Seaside' lettering also appears on the lower spoke of the steering wheel, while decorative trim strips on the dashboard also feature this text, complete with a printed pattern. This pattern is repeated on the graphic badge that appears on the floor mats.

The MINI Convertible Seaside Edition is finished with a special vehicle key that sports a graphic wave pattern in iridescent blue tones.

MINI Asia states that only five examples of the special edition car will be available here in Singapore. So, if you like what you see, you'd better brave the weather to secure your own as soon as possible.
