The Bavarian automaker has spared no expense in the creation of its latest flagship. The amount of technology and luxury featured in the 7 Series' cabin is simply astounding.
And, the seats' massage function offers eight programmes, each with three different levels of intensity, with one of them being a Vitality Programme, which engages active training to mobilise the muscles of the back and shoulders, and revitalise rear passengers over long journeys.
Whilst enjoying a reinvigorating massage accompanied by soothing music from the car's Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, you can also enjoy BMW's new Rear-seat entertainment Experience, operated using the futuristic Touch Command tablet.
The Rear-seat entertainment Experience includes two 10-inch colour displays on the rear side of the front seat backrests. It also includes a Blu-ray player, HDMI connection for mobile devices, and various connections for MP3 players, game consoles, et cetera.
In case you're wondering what the BMW Touch Command tablet is, it's a removable handheld device integrated in the centre armrest between the rear seats of the car. This device automatically connects to the iDrive system and passengers can operate the rear seats' massage functions, set the lighting ambience, and control the extensive entertainment functions, among other amenities. Once replaced in its secure bracket, the tablet is recharged by means of a snap-in adapter.
With such a dizzying amount of technology and luxury on board, the cabin of the 7 Series is truly a masterpiece and one befitting of BMW's flagship car. It extends typical BMW driving pleasure to include the enjoyment of being driven.
