Changi Karting Circuit offers flexible configurations to suit the needs of fun or race karting, corporate championships as well as private events.

Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports, and believe it or not, all current and many former Formula One drivers grew up racing karts. Prominent ones include World Champions Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.

Professional instructors are on hand to provide assistance and safe advice
Singapore may have the Formula One, but the true foundation of the sport has long been ignored. All this is about to change, starting at the far eastern end of Singapore.

Over at Changi lies a karting track - aimed at showcasing the future of Singapore motorsports. The Changi Karting Circuit (CKC) was set up in 2013 with the main objective of creating a place for drivers to be educated on what it takes to be a race driver.

At 1.1km in length and being fully interchangeable with six exciting configurations, the CKC provides the flexibility to hold multiple events at the same time.

In addition to events, the track is open to the public for fun kart sessions, private bookings, professional training as well as local and international races. This year, the track will play host to the annual Singapore Karting Championship (SKC), KF1 Championships, corporate competitions, local school competitions and international events.

Boasting an abundance of first class facilities such as kart storage, fully covered grandstands, toilets, changing rooms, a modern driver training suite and ample parking, the CKC raises the bar high for karting activities in Singapore.

The CKC can host anything from a fun kart session to international competitions
The CKC also houses the Singapore Karting Academy (SKA), set up to target the general community, and they are working with the Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA) to promote motorsport to schools and grassroots communities - the next important objective.

The SKA is the first professional motorsport and racing programme in Singapore. Our paid programmes target youths eight years and above and offers structured, progressive and tested programmes for the development of drivers, as well as the promotion of motorsport interest in Singapore.

More impressively, the CKC also runs weekly leagues to promote low cost kart racing for the general public, lowering the barrier of entry for racing enthusiasts.

What are you waiting for? Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and get ready for the ride of a lifetime, where karting has never been so much fun before!

Changi Karting Circuit is located at Aviation Park Road, Lot # MK 31-04589N, Singapore. For more information, please visit here or call 92723633. Alternatively, you can email your queries to [email protected]
