Audi has updated its Q8 flagship SUV.
This latest update to the car sees it now being available with Matrix LED head lights, as well as redesigned intakes for cars specified with the S-Line exterior package. These sit at either side of a redesigned grille that stands out more prominently thanks to its contrasting colour, and now comes with a new pattern to better identify the SUV as one of Audi's flagship models.
The new head lights will also pair with new digital OLED rear lights. Other new details for the refreshed Q8 include a redesign of the exhaust pipes across the range, as well as Audi's new two-dimensional logo at the front – a touch we first saw on the Audi Q8 e-tron.
In the cabin, the Audi Q8 is now being offered with new trim pieces. Standard Q8 models now have the option of utilising fine grain ash natural silver pieces, while Carbon twill matt and Aluminium linear silver grey options are available for the Q8 featuring the S line sport package as well as for the SQ8.
The SUV also now gets an upgraded MIB3 infotainment system that now supports third-party apps including Spotify or Amazon music.
This updated Audi Q8 is being launched with a 335bhp 3.0-litre six-cylinder that delivers a peak torque of 550Nm from 1,370rpm to 4,500rpm. This engine allows the car to sprint to 100km/h from a standstill in 5.6 seconds.
The SQ8, meanwhile, will continue to utilise a 4.0-litre V8 with 500bhp and 770Nm of torque. Paired to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive, this engine will see the performance SUV reaching 100km/h from a standstill in 4.1 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 250km/h. The car also now gets a redesigned front apron spoiler, as well as a sporty-looking underride guard at the front while the diffuser at the rear has also been redesigned.
