If you've been considering a switch from an ICE car to an EV and you happen to live in the northeast, you're in luck: Harmony Auto has almost the entire BYD model range on display at Waterway Point in Punggol.
The Harmony Auto x Sgcarmart Premium Brand Showcase that runs from 20-26 May 2024 features the Seal sedan, Dolphin hatchback, and Atto 3 crossover. The latter is currently one of the most, if not the most, popular car in Singapore.
The Dolphin looks like a compact hatchback from afar, but it's actually taller and roomier than you'd expect
The Dolphin is the entry point to the BYD range, but offers surprisingly generous passenger space, thanks to its relatively long 2,700mm wheelbase, which is just 20mm shorter than the Atto 3's.
True to its name, the Dolphin features marine-inspired style elements, such as interior door handles shaped like dolphin flippers and whirlpool-inspired vents on the dashboard.
Cutesiness aside, the Dolphin impresses with its full suite of safety features that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert & Rear Cross Traffic Brake. With 94bhp and 180Nm of torque, the Dolphin is a peppy performer in the city. It also goes the distance with its 44.9kWh Blade battery, which gives it a WLTP range of 340km.
More 'traditional' buyers who prefer sedans will have the Seal to check out. This handsome saloon, which has an IF Award to its name, is available in three versions: Dynamic, Premium, and Performance.
Sportiness is the car's calling card. The Dynamic version, for instance, offers 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, and goes from 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds. The Premium variant takes this a notch higher with its 308bhp and 360Nm of torque, enabling it to finish the century sprint in 5.9 seconds.
Keener drivers will probably take a liking to the Seal Performance. With two electric motors (instead of one) punching out 523bhp and 670Nm of torque, the Seal Performance zips from rest to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds and offers a range of 520km.
On the other hand, everyday drivers who don't share the need for speed will be drawn to the Atto 3. Recently updated, this electric crossover has enhanced styling and an improved interior that boasts a larger rotating touchscreen: At 15.6-inches, it's now the same size as the one in the Seal.
With a 60.5kWh Blade battery, the Atto 3 has a WLTP-City range of 565km, and a WLTP-Combined figure of 420km. Size-wise, its dimensions are just right for local conditions. Equipped with a 360-degree camera as standard and measuring just 4,455mm long from tip to tip, the Atto 3 is easy to manoeuvre around carparks.
The Atto 3's dynamics are what most drivers are comfortable with, too. With the electric motor producing 134bhp and a healthy 310Nm of torque, the crossover does the century dash in 10.1 seconds. That's more than enough poke for most folks, who usually commute to and from the office during peak periods.
The Atto 3's spacious backseat is complemented by the 440-litre boot, which expands to 1,340 litres when the rear seats are folded
Customers who purchase a car from the Harmony Auto x Sgcarmart Premium Brand Showcase can enjoy up to $20,000 in owner benefits, shopping vouchers and more.
In addition, customers can also participate in a lucky spin to win mini prizes such as a BYD umbrella, thermal cup or even Frasers vouchers. All you need to do is to follow @BYDHarmony.SG on Instagram, snap and share a photo of the showcase and tag them.
