Mazda 6 facelifted for 2010

The main design change to the 2010 Mazda 6 is the adoption of the new Mazda five-point front grille to fit in with the rest of the range. The front bumper has also been redesigned with additional air-inlets at the corner, and revised rear lamp clusters as well as new 17 or 18-inch wheels complete the look.

Inside, Mazda has limited the changes to the interior to a new glossy, piano-black for the centre console, air con vent surrounds, as well as the shift gate and steering wheel spokes, and the chrome garnish on the climate control and audio dials, shift knob and inner door handles.

The most significant change however is a new 2.0-litre engine with direct injection added to the range, although Mazda has not disclosed any details about the new powerplant. The company also said that it had tweaked the 6’s power steering and suspension settings to improve the car's handling and straight-line stability at high speeds as well the ride quality.
