Porsche is reportedly pushing the Cayenne S Diesel into production following the recent debut of the Cayenne Diesel at the New York Auto Show.
According to Car & Driver, the crossover will feature a V8 engine with an output that supercede the performance of Cayenne Diesel's 3.0-litre V6 that develops 245 PS (180 kW / 242 bhp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The choice of engine is not known at present, but one possible candidate is Audi's 4.2-litre TDI which produces 350 PS (258 kW / 345 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
