Renault has revealed the Rafale Hypnotic, a limited-edition version of its flagship SUV-coupe that adds a more distinctive visual identity to the range-topping Rafale Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4x4 300 Atelier Alpine.
Restricted to just 1,500 numbered examples across Europe, the Hypnotic is designed to appeal to buyers looking for something rarer than the standard Rafale.
While the mechanical package remains unchanged, Renault has introduced a series of exclusive design elements and interior enhancements to set the model apart.
The most noticeable change is the exclusive satin-finish Forest Black paintwork, which gives the Rafale a more purposeful appearance. The darker theme extends to a black front grille, gloss black roof trim, gloss black rear spoiler, and dedicated 21-inch satin-finish alloy wheels. Even the Atelier Alpine badging has been finished in black, reinforcing the model's stealthier character.
Inside, the cabin receives its own set of bespoke touches. Upholstery combines titanium black Alcantara with textured fabric, accented by blue, white and red stitching and an illuminated Alpine logo on the seatbacks. Each car also features an individually numbered plaque, highlighting its limited-run status.
Beyond the styling upgrades, Renault has expanded the standard equipment list. The Rafale Hypnotic comes equipped with the Solarbay panoramic glass roof, a heated windscreen, head-up display, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system as standard.
Under the skin, the Hypnotic retains the plug-in hybrid powertrain from the Rafale Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4x4 300 Atelier Alpine. The setup combines a combustion engine with three electric motors to produce 300bhp, while Renault quotes an electric-only driving range of up to 105km.
The chassis package remains a highlight. Four-wheel drive, 4Control Advanced four-wheel steering, and a predictive suspension system that uses a camera to scan the road ahead are designed to deliver sharper responses without sacrificing everyday comfort.
