According to Suzuki, the SX4 with the new engine and manual transmission with front-wheel-drive can go from 0-100km/h in 10.7 seconds, reach a top speed of 185km/h and return a fuel consumption figure of 6.2 litres per 100km.
The new engine is part of a series of upgrades Suzuki has given the SX4 hatchback, and the facelift for 2010 also includes a redesigned front bumper and grille together with new 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior also gets a revised lower centre dashboard panel that houses a new display, an updated instrument cluster that incorporates a driver information display for average and instantaneous fuel consumption, fuel range and outside temperature, and illuminated audio controls on the steering wheel.
