TWR Supercat makes global debut
21 Nov 2024|135 views
TWR has formally unveiled the Supercat, its radical new Super-GT underpinned by the legendary Jaguar XJS.
It features rear-wheel drive, a six-speed manual gearbox, and a supercharged 5.6-litre V12 engine which produces an impressive 660bhp and 730Nm of torque.
To manage this power, the car's structure has been reinforced with an integrated tubular steel framework with lightweight carbon fibre body panels.
The Supercat weighs at 1,605kg and measures 4,766mm long, 1,975mm wide, and 1,210mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,591mm.
Additional features include optional carbon ceramic disc brakes, fully programmable traction control, launch control, and five distinct driving modes. Its rear seats have been replaced with an expanded luggage area for long-distance touring, while carbon fibre-backed leather seats sport a contemporary design with a 'heritage' option.
TWR is now accepting commissions for the Supercat and will produce just 88 examples worldwide, with its first customer deliveries expected in the summer of 2025.
