Very easy car to drive. A cheaper version

of the VW Beetle. But to me, its looks even better than VW Beetle. People always will give this car a 2nd glance. FC can get 15km/liter but how I wish it can be better or at least equal to my previous Kelisa.

Good first car to own

Nissan march is the first car i own. Love the exterior that is reminiscent of a beetle but at a much more affordable price tag. Am surprised there are so little reviews on this mini. The nissan march is extremely easy to zip around in town and navigates corners like a breeze. Fuel consumption is on par with the honda jazz at 14.5km/l, and its ultra cute exterior is bound to make heads turn.

My family bought the pre-facelifted model in early 2007. Although it hasn't been driven that much, we all think it's a pretty good buy because it has met and, in a few areas, exceeded our expectations.

Its 97ps might not seem like much but perhaps because of it's light weight and small size, it can actually outrun a number of sedans we are currently driving or have driven in the past. The steering is also smooth, imparting a sense of control to the driver. As age is catching up with my mother, the small size is very much appreciated when negotiating bends on slopes, tight spaces and small carpark lots. Despite the small size, there is an acceptable amount of interior (including boot) space. Having said this, I find the driver's seat fairly cramped and the head rest too low. So if you're big-sized, the March is probably not the car for you.

One thing I don't quite like is the bumpy ride which seems to be a common thread among all the Nissan cars we have owned. It is especially jarring when going over humps so remember to slow to a crawl when doing so.

Fuel economy is fair at best and if this is your top priority, you would probably do much better with a Jazz or Fit.

If you're looking for a small car which you can manoeuvre in tight spaces and bring around for a joyride, the March is definitely worth considering.
